May the Mulch Be With You! – May 4th
May 4 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Free
Date:
Saturday, May 4, 2025
Time:
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (or later if you’d like to stay)
Rain Date:
Saturday, May 10, 2025
Location:
Meet in Lower Brust Park, across from the Manhattan College entrance.
Event Details:
Help us refresh Brust Park for the season! We’ll be spreading mulch in the Lower Park and then moving toward the Upper Park as we go. Mulching helps protect plants, retain moisture, and keep the park looking beautiful all summer long.
This is a drop-in event—come for as long as you can! Every helping hand makes a big difference.
What to Bring:
-
Wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
-
Gloves and basic tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
-
Water and a good attitude encouraged! 🌿
All ages are welcome. No experience necessary—just a love for nature and community.
Let’s work together to bring balance (and bark chips) to Brust Park.
